entertainment , food expenses and home office expenses can be claimed , or not , before you expend and when tax returns are due in.
Small businesses with Back to the Wall!
A recent national survey of small & medium sized businesses by MYOB tells a tale of business owner anxiety over the impacts of rising inflation cost of living , overheads , and negative cash flows.
Our Bendall Advisory forum for small businesses ( included many micro business with 5 or less employees) last year in Whakatane, picked up on these sector impacts , although concerns over Covid have now thankfully diminished.
The need for good planning , staying aware and being prepared for risks exposures , sector impacts (negative and positive ! ) was reinforced. Suggestions for maintaining confidence and wellness plus tools & practices to assist were also covered.
We are continuing to support the SME sector and micro business and those micro business owners who are struggling , considering start up or new initiatives , need overall performance improvement.

Bendall Advisory continues to help Charities, Not for Profits and Social Enterprises by collaborating with the EBOP Community Network to facilitate a second ( first was in July 2022 ) workshop .
With so many challenges and uncertainties , we focussed on improving governance, leadership, strategic thinking , fundraising strategies , and financial risk management.
